The principles

• Predictable workflows. Work moves through defined stages. The path a change takes is designed rather than improvised, which is what makes it repeatable.
• Traceable decisions. Every decision carries its provenance: what was proposed, on what evidence, and by which agent or which person. Auditability is a property of the system rather than a report assembled afterwards.
• Human approval where it matters. Agents accelerate the work. They do not quietly assume authority. Consequential and irreversible steps remain a human gate, by design.

Why it is built this way

In a regulated institution, the obstacle to adopting AI is seldom raw capability. It is the absence of a defensible account of how a decision was reached and who was accountable for it. altabric therefore treats governance as the foundation of the platform rather than as a constraint imposed upon it afterwards.
