Where should a reader begin with a publication about artificial intelligence in financial services?

demystifAI is organised around four pillars. Each answers a different question, and together they run from the single use case to enterprise change. Begin with the pillar closest to the problem in front of you.

The four pillars

  • Take AI to the Bank — agentic AI applied process by process across banking, structured against the service landscape published by BIAN, the Banking Industry Architecture Network, so that every use case has an unambiguous home.
  • Take AI to Insurance — the same discipline applied to the insurance value chain, from underwriting and pricing through to claims and servicing.
  • AI & Data — the inversion of the familiar instruction to fix the data first: using AI to reach good data, rather than waiting for good data before using AI.
  • AI for Change — delivery and transformation, and the practice of governing AI inside real programmes of work.

Where to go next

  • Working in banking? Begin with Take AI to the Bank.
  • Working in insurance? Begin with Take AI to Insurance.
  • Accountable for a data estate? Begin with AI & Data. The argument there is the most contrarian of the four, and the one most worth disagreeing with.
  • Accountable for delivery? Begin with AI for Change.

How the writing is organised

Each post carries its pillar as a primary tag, so that a pillar reads as a coherent body of work rather than as a chronological feed. Where a post belongs to a running series — a finite, ordered arc within a pillar — the series appears as a secondary tag.

Three further pages may be useful. About sets out the editorial position and who writes it. The AI glossary defines the recurring terms in plain language. altabric describes the product, kept deliberately separate from the writing.

New writing arrives by email, and subscribing is the simplest way to follow a pillar as it develops. Which of the four is closest to the problem on your desk this quarter?
